Your Cookie Preferences
You can choose which types of cookies you are comfortable with. Essential cookies cannot be turned off as they are needed for this website to function. Your choices are saved in your browser.
Essential Cookies
Required for the website to load and function. They remember your cookie preference and enable basic navigation. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how visitors arrive at and move through our site (Google Analytics 4). The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Marketing Cookies
Used by advertising platforms (Meta Pixel, Microsoft Bing) to understand whether visitors reached our site via an advertisement. We use this only to measure, not to track browsing habits across other sites.
Preference Cookies
Remember choices you have made on this website, such as your preferred language or display settings, so you do not need to re-enter them on your next visit.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — for example, whether you have already seen a notice — and to gather basic usage data. Cookies do not run programmes or carry viruses.
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies to help this website work reliably, to understand how visitors find and navigate our pages, and to measure whether marketing placements brought visitors to us. We keep our cookie use modest: we do not place cookies for social media tracking, behavioural profiling, or personalised advertising.
3. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
- cookieConsent — Stores your cookie preference choice (accept/decline). Kept in localStorage, not transmitted to any server. Retained until you clear your browser data.
Analytics Cookies (if accepted)
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4 cookies that help us count page visits and understand broad navigation patterns. Data is aggregated. Retained for up to 24 months by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Marketing Cookies (if accepted)
- _fbp — Meta (Facebook) Pixel cookie, used to measure whether a visitor arrived via a Meta advertisement. Retained for up to 90 days.
- _uetmsclkid, _uetvid — Microsoft Bing Ads cookies used similarly to measure ad performance. Retained for up to 13 months.
Preference Cookies (if accepted)
- At present we use no preference cookies beyond the essential consent cookie. This category is available should we introduce language or display options in future.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Analytics and marketing cookies are set by third-party services (Google, Meta, Microsoft). These parties may access and process the data in accordance with their own privacy policies, which are separate from ours. We have no direct control over third-party cookie durations or data handling beyond what those services offer by default. Where possible, we have configured these services to respect Do Not Track signals and to anonymise IP addresses.
5. Managing Your Preferences
You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time using the panel at the top of this page. You may also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies have been set and delete individual ones.
- Block cookies from specific websites or all websites.
- Enable a "Do Not Track" signal that some services respect.
Please note that blocking essential cookies may affect how this website functions. Blocking analytics or marketing cookies will not prevent you from using any part of our site or services.
6. Consent
When you first visit our website, a small notice appears asking for your consent to non-essential cookies. Only essential cookies are active before you make a choice. Your preference is stored locally in your browser; no consent record is transmitted to our servers. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by visiting this page.
7. Data Protection
Our use of cookies that process personal data is governed by the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). Please see our Privacy Policy for details of your rights and how to exercise them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we change the cookies we use or if legal requirements change. The current version will always be available at {{DOMAIN}}/cookie-policy.html with the date it was last updated.
